During October and November, Jonathan Sunnex held a series of freediving camps at the Mexican Cenotes. The camps were extremely succesful but all good things come to an end at some point, no? Johnny recently posted a message on his Instagram account, thanking all parties involved at the camps and also stating that he will be organizing a series of new camps this January.

"Massive shout out to everyone who joined us for the Cenotes freediving camps this October and November. It has been an incredible month of exploration, training, education and comradary! We've seen some of the wilder parts of the Yucatan and a diverse variety of Cenotes, and I couldn't have wished for a better group (or groups!) of people to share it with! We're already looking forward to hosting more camps here in January (stay tuned for dates) but before we do I'd like to thank a few people!

First and foremost, @pablomarti, who shared the vision from the beginning. To those of you looking for a camp to join in December be sure to hit him up! Also special thanks to our local guides @freedivingyucatan and @amancayfreediving for your positive energy, hard work and showing us some of the most amazing Cenotes in existence (if you're planning a holiday here soon check them out!). Thank you to @finsandfoamfreediving for bringing together such a great group of people and for spending your own holiday helping others learn and enjoy the water (if you're in Nor Cal and wanting to learn more about freediving hit him up!). To our assistants @harrymccahill and @will_mel thank you for your hard work and for sharing your passion with others. Thank you to our amazing venues @quintabellaflor and @kankabal for hosting us and providing some of the best food in the Yucatan.

Thank you to my sponsors @eliossub, @alchemy and @suunto for providing the finest freediving equipment that has endured and excelled in every environment I've thrown at it from pole to pole, to the tropics and to the Mayan underworld.

Last but definitely not least, thank you @meeschell for bringing new energy to the camps, for your long hours of hard work behind the scenes, the continued support, enthusiasm and for sharing this crazy adventure with me".
