There is only so much you can learn about a pair of fins from specifications.
Eventually, you have to put them on your feet and get in the water.
And ideally, not just one body of water.
Over the past years, Luca Malaguti,Christine Gerstorfer and Josh Munoz have built their lives around freediving. Between them, they have trained, taught, competed, created and explored various corners of the world.
Different divers. Different bodies. Different techniques. Different water. Different temperatures. Different objectives.
That matters.
Because ICON was never intended to perform under one carefully controlled set of conditions.
So we presented them with a series of questions.
How does ICON feel?
How does it respond?
How does it fit into training, teaching and competition?
What changes when the same equipment has to work across very different types of diving?
