1. Overview
Alchemy EE (“Alchemy”) offers a limited warranty to the original purchaser of new Alchemy-branded products purchased directly or from authorized Alchemy resellers worldwide. This warranty guarantees that products are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal recreational diving use.
2. Warranty Duration
- Standard coverage: 2 years from date of purchase, as verified by a valid sales receipt.
- Carbon‑fiber fins: 5‑year coverage of the carbon fiber part based on manufacturing date.
- Neck‑weights: No warranty coverage.
Extended or alternative commercial warranties offered in certain regions (e.g., EU) may apply in addition to these terms.
3. Legal Guarantee (EU)
In the EU, consumers are entitled to a statutory legal guarantee of conformity of at least 2 years, per Directive (EU) 2019/771. This guarantee is independent of Alchemy’s commercial warranty and ensures remedies - repair, replacement, reduction or refund - at no cost if goods are defective or non‑conforming to the product description.
4. Claims Process
- Timeframe: Submit claims within two months of defect detection.
- Documentation - Return the complete product with:
• Original warranty certificate document. We will not honor certificates of warranty that have been tampered with or altered, nor photocopies of these certificates. If the fins were bought through a reseller, warranty certificate should be signed by the authorized reseller
• Valid sales receipt (tax invoice)
- Return through reseller: Deliver the item back to the original authorized reseller, who will forward it to Alchemy.
- Customer costs: Customers are responsible for shipping, insurance, applicable taxes or customs duties.
5. Remedy Options
If a defect is confirmed within the warranty period and not excluded, Alchemy will, at its discretion:
• Repair the product
• Replace with an identical or equivalent model of comparable value if necessary
Returned parts or products become the property of Alchemy. Post-repair or replacement, the original warranty period is extended by an additional period equal to the original term.
6. Exclusions & Limitations
The warranty does not cover damage arising from:
• Normal wear and tear (e.g., O‑rings, zippers, batteries, bulbs, rubber, silicone, neoprene)
• Improper, negligent, heavy, or abnormal use (blows, falls, incorrect assembly, failure to follow instructions)
• Neglect or lack of maintenance
• Known defects present at the time of purchase
• Exposure to extreme temperatures, sunlight, chlorinated or polluted water
• Abrasions, scratches, or cosmetic damage
• Unauthorized modifications or alterations
• Components used for rental, commercial, or military purposes
• Second‑hand purchases
Blades & Fins - If warranty coverage is applicable, Alchemy may, at its discretion, replace or repair one or both blades of a fin pair. Once a warranty claim has been fulfilled - whether it involves repairing, replacing one blade, or replacing both blades - no further warranty claims can be made on the same pair of fins, including the originally damaged and replacement blade(s). This ensures the sustainability of our warranty program and provides fair support to all customers. Repeated damage to fins will not be considered covered under warranty.
7. Handling of Non‑Covered Claims
If inspection determines the claim is not covered, Alchemy reserves the right to:
• Charge a reasonable handling fee
• Offer a quote for out‑of‑warranty repair
8. International Purchases
Products purchased abroad should be returned to the regional Alchemy distributor/reseller in the customer’s country of residence. Such claims may incur handling fees, shipping, duty, or tax charges.
9. Transfer & Original Purchaser Requirement
The warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. Coverage requires purchase from an official Alchemy reseller.
10. Additional Consumer Rights
This warranty does not limit rights under mandatory national laws, including statutory legal guarantees. Where applicable, consumers in the EU also benefit from legal rights that override this warranty.
11. How to Initiate a Claim
Please follow these steps:
• Contact the authorized reseller where you purchased the product to request a warranty claim form.
• Attach all required documents: completed certificate, proof of purchase, and description of defect.
• Ship the product to the reseller or Alchemy service center as directed.

Note: This policy is a commercial warranty and complements your statutory consumer rights - including the EU 2-year legal guarantee - and does not diminish them.
Your satisfaction is important to us. Please read the following terms regarding returns and refunds for purchases made through our online store.
Eligibility for Returns
We accept returns or exchanges of products within 15 days of delivery, provided the conditions below are met.
To be eligible for a return:
• The item must be unused and in the same condition as you received it.
• The item must be in its original packaging with all original components and tags (if applicable).
• You must have proof of purchase (order number or receipt).
• The return request must be initiated within 15 calendar days from the date you received the product.
• After 15 days from delivery, we reserve the right to refuse returns that are not due to a confirmed defect or error on our part.
Non-Returnable Items
Certain items cannot be returned:
• Custom-made or personalized products (e.g. custom-crafted fins) unless defective or our error.
• Used or damaged items (showing wear, scratches, or signs of use).
• Hygiene-sensitive items (such as insoles once opened or used).
• Final sale items marked as "Non-Returnable" at purchase.
Return Process
To initiate a return, contact us through our contact form with your order number and reason. Return shipping is always paid by customer.
We are not responsible for lost returns; we recommend tracked & insured shipping.
Refunds
After inspection, approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method.
• Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
• Payment processing fees (~2-3%) are non-refundable.
• Fins with attached footpockets will incur a €60 restocking fee.
Exchanges & Replacements
For defective or incorrect items, we will offer replacements. Return shipping remains customer responsibility unless we confirm a defect.

Delivery Times
• International: 1-10 working days post-dispatch
• Greece: 1-3 working days
• Made-to-order products (fins) may require ~10 working days production before dispatch
Shipping Costs
Displayed at checkout. International orders may be subject to customs duties/taxes which are customer’s responsibility. Orders from EU include receiver's country's VAT.
Failed Deliveries
Customer is responsible for correct address entry. If undeliverable, the package will be returned at customer’s cost for any reshipment. Failed delivery's shipping cost is non refundable.
Package Loss & Damage
Our shipments are insured. Contact us immediately for assistance if lost or damaged. Save all packaging materials for insurance claims.
