Blue Element Safety Testimonials About The Alchemy PRO Carbon Fins
Would you trust a pair of short fins to rescue a diver from -40m? The new Alchemy PROs were used exclusively by Blue Element’s safety team this yea...
Boundaries are meant to be pushed. A whole new class of performance and mobility for deep freedivers.
Meet the original short carbon freediving fins that pack the speed you need to get more done faster. Designed for freedivers who don’t need the extra length - such as instructors, creators, safety divers and daring fun divers - their supercharged power & nerve take efficiency further than ever. Boundary breaker, for sure.
These groundbreaking blades feature a 30 degree angle. Such an angle requires less effort from the diver when kicking, which practically translates to less oxygen consumption. Combined with the extra 3 degrees that C4 (300 & 400) foot pockets offer, the fins’ effective angle totals 33 degrees. This combination offers an “early start” of the blades’ working spectrum and makes them feel softer than they really are. The blades also feature an extraordinary mirror finish on their front side and matt finish on the back. Their unique serial number tag is embedded into the blades’ lamination, ensuring the authenticity of your Alchemy product along with a hologram tamper-proof individually numbered tag on your warranty certificate document.
V3-30 Pro feature the ultimate carbon layer positioning within each blade. Thirteen (13) layers of premium, EU-made, 100% carbon fiber, selected especially for deep sea applications, are positioned in an exceptional way, in order to offer an unbelievable bending profile, with the ultimate feedback, nerve, and speed. Having the first ever V shaped reinforcement layer that goes beyond the blade's angle, raw power comes straight from the beginning of each and every kick.
V3-30 Pro are manufactured in compliance with the most demanding standards in constant ambient temperature and humidity. 45 tons of total pressure combined with vacuum assistance (VRTM) and 12 hours post curing in temperatures controlled through PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) with a deviation of less than ± 0,1°C.
V3-30 Pro blades end in a dolphin tail shape (D.Tail). This shape gives the best performance results, based on hydrodynamics studies (Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute / T. Wei) and tests made in C.F.D. software (Computational Fluid Dynamics). The dolphin tail shaped ending provides maximum thrust with the least possible energy consumption.
Our 100% silicone hydrodynamic water rails have been designed in a three-dimensional (3D) CAD environment and are produced in the United Kingdom by a high end silicone production facility. Trials and studies in C.F.D. software showed that Alchemy water rails detain and drive the water on the blade, without losing their shape, even in the toughest conditions. Even in the limit bend of the blade, the water rail retains its shape, drives the water from the beginning of the stroke and provides immediate response to the diver's moves. Compared to rubber, silicone is far superior when it comes to strength and shape maintenance under extreme conditions.
Choosing the correct stiffness & footpockets for your fins can be a cumbersome experience. Here's how to get it right.
Alchemy fins/blades are produced upon ordering. We do not keep them in stock. Lead time may vary from 5 to 20 working days, depending on work load. Normal lead time is 10 working days. Please be sure to contact us in order to know the waiting time before you place your order.
If you purchase blades with footpockets from our online shop, you will receive a fully assembled pair of fins, ready to use. However, if you only order blades and plan to attach them to footpockets yourself, please keep the following points in mind:

V330 Pro is a great pair of fins. They are powerful when you need the power, and they are nice and soft when you want the efficiency. Love using them pool dynamic training. They are just amazing.

The best carbon fiber fins out there. I've been diving for 5 years now - spearfishing, line diving, and underwater photography. I've had the opportunity to try on lots of different fins and alchemy has always been the best. The fins are extremely light, smooth, and look the best in the water! I've put these fins through a lot too, in and out of lots of boats, I've sailed across 2 oceans, once for 80 days, and the fins held up just perfect! I highly recommend the fins and I have no intentions of changing which fins I take out on the water!

Efficiency is almost same as the long fins. Very reliable and easier to maneuver in the water. Highly recommended!

The product is very well executed. Responsive and good snap despite the soft stifness. The 30 degree angle produces powerful rear kicks, but would require slight adjust to your fronts. All in all a very versatile pair of blades, perfect for traveling and as an all-arounder. Very agile for underwater photography and suitable for off-season training and instructing.

The short fins is very practical and light. I can put them in the luggage. The power is very good compare to other short fins. The foot pocket i use is c4 400. It is more easy to put on than c4 300. I got blistered on my legs if i don't put the socks. With socks everything feels perfect. I prefer to travel with the short one for snorkeling, doing safety, and taking pictures, it is more dynamic and easy to maneuver.

As a petite person, I've been looking for years for a pair of performance free dive fins that were relative to size and finally I have them! The shorter blade length makes an extreme difference for small freedivers. Extremely lightweight, more than any other pair I own and for the first time fin kicks feel effortless!
