The excellent organization of the World Freediving Indoor Championship in Belgrade and the ideal conditions for all participants have significantly contributed to the breaking of as many as three world records during the first two days at the "Milan Gale Muškatirović" swimming pool.

After Julia Kozerska from Poland, who achieved the best result in dynamic diving without fins (210 meters), on the second day of the competition, world records were set in dynamic diving with bi-fins in men's and women's categories. The competition in the men's category was especially exciting, and the Frenchman Guillaume Burdilla triumphed. The new world record is now 274.7 meters, and it is interesting that the second place was won by the Pole Mateusz Malina with a distance of 274.06 meters, which was also almost 10 meters better than the previous best result in the world. In the women's competition, the title of world champion was won by Croatian Mirela Kardašević, who set a new world record with a result of 250 meters. The Serbian competitor Tijana Nikolić, with a length of 180.4 meters, broke the national record and took 11th place.

The World Indoor Freediving Championship, which is being held in Belgrade for the second year in a row, lasts until June 15.
