A couple of months ago we released our new freediving neck weight. Even though we did think it would be a game-changing product, nothing prepared us for such a warm welcome! Here's what people are posting on social media about it!

Neck weights have always been a practical solution to improving our streamlining/center of gravity whilst diving. This has mostly been achieved with DIY solutions of inner tubes and lead shot - until recently. Alchemy is the latest to release a manufactured neck weight - never before have I worn a neck weight as comfortable and stylish as their new neck weight - its silicone outer layer grips your smooth skin suit and it is extremely moldable. You can order different sizes, weights, and colours. Finally, a practical solution made with style & integrity.

Alchemy sent us their new neck weight and I'm surprisingly obsessed. If you are not familiar with neck weights as I was a year back, they are used in freediving, particularly line diving, to aid in your descent. It spreads out some weight from your belt and helps straighten you out for a faster descent. I tried a few out before but never found them to be comfortable. In particular, they would end up slapping me in the jaw on my drop which is why I refrained from using them. Alchemy's is made of flexible silicone, so it conforms perfectly and sticks to your suit incredibly well, even your skin decently. I didn't think I'd like it but I don't see myself diving without it now.

Haven't had a new piece of equipment in a long time. Gotta say the new Alchemy neck weight is amazing. I've always Macguyvered my neck weights before with some inner tube and tape. Never thought a piece of lead around your neck could feel as comfortable. It's like you are not wearing anything! Thank you Alchemy for another great piece of equipment.
