"The ocean is our planet’s life support system. It is the provider of food, recreation, transport and even the oxygen we breathe – and to lose this is too big of a cost. The ocean relies on nature and we want to do all we can to help protect it".

A New Clothing Line

Marianna Gillespie and her team developed an idea to use clothing with "simple designs and engaging messages as a medium to raise the awareness of the threats to the ocean marine life". That’s how the idea of Esprit Profond was born. In French it means “deep spirit”. "Every design they use, has a story behind as they want to inspire the global community to become ocean aware by increasing its understanding, wonder and appreciation for our oceans". They have recently launched a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo, so if you are keen on helping, make sure you pay them a visit.
