"I was traveling through Australia, about ten years ago and I signed up to attend a scuba course. I was in a remote town on the west coast and there was this course starting the very next day. With the town being so small, there was no doctor. So, we agreed that I could start the theory segments and then drive two hours to the nearest medical center. Upon arrival, however, having had asthma since I was a boy, the doctor failed me and I could not complete the course. Returning back to the dive shop, I told him the story, I had already paid, so they told me they could either give me a refund or give me a discount on a pair of free diving fins. The shop attendant pointed to the fins and said "with these you'll get down to ten meters". The thought of diving ten meters without a tank blew my mind and I readily accepted the offer.
