The iconic V3-30 are the go-to performers for deep freediving applications. A product of collaboration with some of the world’s deepest humans and utilising next generation materials and supreme craftsmanship, they are the most powerful pair of fins we’ve ever made. Armed with lightning fast response, they are designed to outdo competition even in the most demanding scenarios.

These groundbreaking blades feature a 30 degree angle. Such an angle requires less effort from the diver when kicking, which practically translates to less oxygen consumption. Combined with the extra 3 degrees that C4 (300 & 400) foot pockets offer, the fins’ effective angle totals 33 degrees. This combination offers an “early start” of the blades’ working spectrum and makes them feel softer than they really are. The blades also feature an extraordinary mirror finish on their front side and a matt finish on the back. Their unique serial number tag is embedded into the blades’ lamination, ensuring the authenticity of your Alchemy product along with a hologram tamper-proof individually numbered tag on your warranty certificate document.

V3-30 feature the ultimate carbon layer positioning within each blade. Fifteen (15) layers of premium, EU-made, 100% carbon fiber, selected especially for deep sea applications, are positioned in an exceptional way, in order to offer an unbelievable bending profile, with the ultimate feedback, nerve, and speed. Having the first ever V shaped reinforcement layer that goes beyond the blade's angle, raw power comes straight from the beginning of each and every kick.

V3-30 are equipped with a groundbreaking pat. pending design, Hardtip™. Built in reverse order, we managed to get the blade's tip harder, and maximised efficiency by correcting the total bending profile, thus ensuring zero dead spots during immersion. While it doesn’t affect the blade's overall stiffness level, Hardtip™ kicks in when the fins start oscillating continuously during a diver's vertical movement, ensuring continuous power transition without energy loss.

V3-30 are manufactured in compliance with the most demanding standards in constant ambient temperature and humidity. 45 tons of total pressure combined with vacuum assistance (VRTM) and 12 hours post curing in temperatures controlled through PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) with a deviation of less than ± 0,1°C.

V3-30 blades end in a dolphin tail shape (D.Tail). This shape gives the best performance results, based on hydrodynamics studies (Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute / T. Wei) and tests made in C.F.D. software (Computational Fluid Dynamics). The dolphin tail shaped ending provides maximum thrust with the least possible energy consumption.

Our 100% silicone hydrodynamic water rails have been designed in a three-dimensional (3D) CAD environment and are produced in the United Kingdom by a high end silicone production facility. Trials and studies in C.F.D. software showed that Alchemy water rails detain and drive the water on the blade, without losing their shape, even in the toughest conditions. Even in the limit bend of the blade, the water rail retains its shape, drives the water from the beginning of the stroke and provides immediate response to the diver's moves. Compared to rubber, silicone is far superior when it comes to strength and shape maintenance under extreme conditions.

Choosing the correct stiffness & footpockets for your fins can be a cumbersome experience. Here's how to get it right.

Alchemy fins/blades are produced upon ordering. We do not keep them in stock. Lead time may vary from 5 to 25 working days, depending on work load. Normal lead time is 10 working days. Please be sure to contact us in order to know the waiting time before you place your order.

If you purchase blades with footpockets from our online shop, you will receive a fully assembled pair of fins, ready to use. However, if you only order blades and plan to attach them to footpockets yourself, please keep the following points in mind:

  • We only use glue to attach the blades to the footpockets. Please contact us for guidance on how to do it the right way.
  • Avoid drilling the blades as it will void the 5-year warranty.
  • Let us know the type of footpockets you plan to use as longer or shorter water rails may be necessary.
  • Ensure that the end of the footpockets' tendons aligns with the length of the already installed water rails. If footpockets without side tendons or shortened purposely are used, the water rails must be extended accordingly. The side edges of the blades should never be left exposed.

Please reach out to us if you have any further questions or concerns.

Throughout the years, some of the world's deepest freedivers have used
Alchemy fins to set countless World and National records.
Here's what they had to say about us.

"Lightweight, smoothly flexing in the water and very durable for the rough Swedish conditions I dive in. The feeling of diving is seamless, I find myself not thinking about having fins on- like an extension of my body movements. Thank you Alchemy, for making great products!"

"The Alchemy V330 are not only the sleekest design out there, but they are also great for performance: in fact, I have done a World Record and 3 National Records with them! The C4-400 footpockets are super comfortable and I can use the fins for hours whilst snorkeling or on a PB dive and they work without much effort. "

"I need to trust my fins the same way I’d trust a dive partner to have my back. They need not to break at depth or wear me out after an 8-hour competition. Whether I’m performing fieldwork in marine biology or shore diving for pelagics, I’m running my alchemy’s."

"Alchemy's carbon stands in a category of its own. As a former engineer, I enjoy the craftsmanship and quality they put into their products. Trusting your fins at great depths and in challenging spearfishing environments is essential. They are your life support. I recommend these fins to anyone that needs a product for performance, comfort and longevity."

"I think I was one of the very first freedivers using Alchemy. In fact I got my first pair in 2011 when the company just started. 12 years later I'm still a fan, I use Alchemy both for working and training and last year they brought me to 92 meters at the end of my deep diving season."

"My Alchemy fins are fast and responsive, with lots of power on demand. They make light work of carrying up heavy weights from the ocean floor, with instant acceleration from the bottom. And the other day I was caught in a 3 knot current and only made it back to shore because of my fins. "

Very efficient, it is not easy for me to find the correct size of foot pockets, I am always between 2 sizes. The C4-400 is fine, the carbon is just awesome and the fins are light. Classy expensive fins. Top world class efficiency. As a freediver instructor, I test sometimes the fins's students. Alchemy is another world clearly.

Amazing product, it feels like I don't have any fins on but the propulsion of them is out of this world. Tried them with c4 300 and 400 foot pocket, in my opinion the v330 and the 300 foot pocketis the perfect pairing.

These fins are a game changer! I owned a lovely pair of V3 before, but these are entirely different. I have the new blade fitted with the C4-400 foot pockets. They are amazingly light and responsive, but the angle makes a huge difference. They feel very easy on your legs and make longer swims way more efficient in terms of lactic build up. Perfect competition fins, for a great balance of power to work - I am really happy with them!

Having tested different brands, Alchemy v3 is one of the top tier selection when choosing good carbon fins. Little effort needed to fin, while giving an efficient amount of propulsion compared with other carbons. Distribution workload of carbon layers feels very well distributed. Alchemy fins is also one of the lighter weight fins to carry. The 15-30% efficiency increase makes alchemy a good choice.
