How is it going boys and girls, welcome back to Key West Waterman, my name is Aaron Young. We are out today, I've got Zach and Justin with me. I actually had a charter that was canceled last minute, so we decided to come out and do some commercial stuff. If you're new to the channel you probably haven't seen one of these episodes and it's a little different than kind of my normal thing. Throughout my career this was something I did a lot more towards the beginning, luckily nowadays I'm normally busy with charters so I don't have to do this as much. But it's been kind of slow lately with some weather cancellations and whatnot, so we're going to come out and try and make a couple of dollars commercially.

And what that means is, I have a permit where I can sell fish to the market and it goes to the restaurants etc. Essentially we come out, harvest a commercial amount of fish, hopefully, a decent amount, we sell that to the market and at the end of the trip, I'll break those expenses down, break the profit down and all that, and tell you how much we made. I do get a lot of negative feedback from these videos because we are taking a lot of fish but if you're not familiar, in my opinion, this is probably one of the most responsible and sustainable ways to commercially harvest fish. There's no bycatch at all, we're only taking the fish that we're targeting, and shooting one fish at a time. I mean there are nets and longliners out there, that do a lot more damage than we do. We're just a couple of guys out here trying to make a couple of bucks for the day and enjoy our job. I'm done rambling, come along with us we'll see you in the water.
