Did you know that the internet pollutes more on a yearly basis compared to the entire aviation industry? Yes, you read right. An average site is said to emit 4.700 pounds of CO2 per year. That is equivalent to consuming 240 gallons of gasoline. In order to offset our CO2 emissions, a few weeks ago we teamed up with Tree Nation, planting a tree for every pair of carbon fins we sell via our eshop. Our second step towards that goal was making our website carbon neutral. Did we manage? Of course we did. For many companies around the world, turning "green" is a marketing gimmick, a way to reach a bigger audience to sell their products. For Alchemy, it is a cause worth investing in and fighting for.
