Pierrick Seybald

Having spent his entire life immersed in the marine environment of French Polynesia, Pierrick founded Moorea Moana Tours to share his passion for the ocean with others. His love for the sea began early with spearfishing and surfing, pursuits that have only grown stronger over time. This deep connection to the ocean, combined with his work in ecotourism, inspired him to co-found the Mao Mana Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to shark conservation, research, and public education. As an experienced spearfisherman, Pierrick has applied his skills innovatively to shark research, using modified spearguns for biological sampling and tagging. His life revolves around the ocean, and he remains committed to protecting the rich marine wildlife of French Polynesia.
