Kostas Kalamaras

Kostas grew up in Athens, Greece, spending his childhood summers on the island of Mykonos at his family’s seaside home. He is widely recognized for his distinctive style of underwater filmmaking, capturing stunning visuals on a single breath using hands-free equalization—a technique mastered by only a few.

Over the years, Kostas has collaborated with several fishing and freediving magazines, including Deep Magazine and Boat and Fishing. In 2012, he worked with the Discovery Channel, filming underwater footage for the show What Happens Next. Since then, his work has been featured across various media platforms, showcasing his skill and vision beneath the surface.
