Finnur, known as "Finn," is an adventure explorer from Reykjavik, Iceland. Raised in nature, he learned to swim and ski before he could walk and spent his early years hiking mountains and exploring the wild. By age 32, he had traveled to 31 countries and over 200 islands. His parents, avid adventurers themselves, passed down their love for the outdoors, shaping Finn’s fearless spirit.
Throughout his childhood, he played multiple sports until a serious injury forced him to stop for a decade. In 2016, he rediscovered movement through the ocean and diving, which reignited his passion for exploration.
With a successful social media presence, Finn turned his focus toward conservation. In the Philippines, he documented reef systems and remote islands to raise awareness about coral degradation. His work helped inspire local governments to form fisheries unions, protect marine areas, and secure reef conservation funding.
In 2017, he partnered with the CURE Foundation, using his platform to raise funds and build a school for young girls rescued from trafficking in the Philippines. Today, Finn continues to explore the world through his lens, creating content that highlights natural beauty while advocating for ocean conservation and humanitarian causes.
